Fresh Homemade Paneer 65 Recipe (Not Copied, Fresh Style)

Ingredients:

  • Paneer (cubes) – 250 grams
  • Curd (Thick yogurt) – 3 tbsp
  • Ginger-Garlic paste – 1 tbsp
  • Red chili powder – 1 tsp
  • Kashmiri chili powder – 1 tsp (for color)
  • Turmeric powder – 1/4 tsp
  • Coriander powder – 1/2 tsp
  • Black pepper powder – 1/4 tsp
  • Garam masala – 1/2 tsp
  • Salt – as per taste
  • Lemon juice – 1 tsp
  • Corn flour – 2 tbsp
  • Rice flour – 1 tbsp (for extra crisp)
  • Curry leaves – 10-12 leaves
  • Green chilies – 2 sliced
  • Oil – for deep frying

Marination Method:

  1. In a mixing bowl, add curd, ginger-garlic paste, chili powders, turmeric, coriander, pepper, garam masala, salt, and lemon juice.
  2. Mix well to make a thick paste.
  3. Add corn flour and rice flour to this paste. If required, sprinkle 1-2 tsp water to make a coating consistency batter.
  4. Add paneer cubes and coat well. Keep aside for 20-30 minutes.

Frying:

  1. Heat oil in a pan for deep frying.
  2. Fry the paneer cubes in hot oil on medium flame until golden and crispy. Remove on tissue paper.

Tadka (Final Tempering):

  1. In another small pan, heat 1 tbsp oil.
  2. Add curry leaves and green chilies, fry for few seconds.
  3. Toss the fried paneer cubes into this tempering and mix well.

Serve:

Serve hot with onion rings, lemon wedge, and green chutney or tomato ketchup.
