Fresh Homemade Paneer 65 Recipe (Not Copied, Fresh Style)
Ingredients:
- Paneer (cubes) – 250 grams
- Curd (Thick yogurt) – 3 tbsp
- Ginger-Garlic paste – 1 tbsp
- Red chili powder – 1 tsp
- Kashmiri chili powder – 1 tsp (for color)
- Turmeric powder – 1/4 tsp
- Coriander powder – 1/2 tsp
- Black pepper powder – 1/4 tsp
- Garam masala – 1/2 tsp
- Salt – as per taste
- Lemon juice – 1 tsp
- Corn flour – 2 tbsp
- Rice flour – 1 tbsp (for extra crisp)
- Curry leaves – 10-12 leaves
- Green chilies – 2 sliced
- Oil – for deep frying
Marination Method:
- In a mixing bowl, add curd, ginger-garlic paste, chili powders, turmeric, coriander, pepper, garam masala, salt, and lemon juice.
- Mix well to make a thick paste.
- Add corn flour and rice flour to this paste. If required, sprinkle 1-2 tsp water to make a coating consistency batter.
- Add paneer cubes and coat well. Keep aside for 20-30 minutes.
Frying:
- Heat oil in a pan for deep frying.
- Fry the paneer cubes in hot oil on medium flame until golden and crispy. Remove on tissue paper.
Tadka (Final Tempering):
- In another small pan, heat 1 tbsp oil.
- Add curry leaves and green chilies, fry for few seconds.
- Toss the fried paneer cubes into this tempering and mix well.
Serve:
Serve hot with onion rings, lemon wedge, and green chutney or tomato ketchup.
