 FRESH CHICKEN ROLE RECIPE 

🌯 Fresh Chicken Roll Recipe

📝 Ingredients (for 4 rolls):

  • Boneless chicken – 250g (cut into thin strips)
  • Whole wheat/maida parathas – 4
  • Onion – 1 medium (thinly sliced)
  • Capsicum – ½ (thinly sliced, optional)
  • Green chilies – 1 (finely chopped)
  • Ginger-garlic paste – 1 tsp
  • Curd (dahi) – 2 tbsp
  • Lemon juice – 1 tbsp
  • Oil or butter – 2 tbsp
  • Salt – as needed
  • Fresh coriander leaves – a handful (chopped)

🌶️ Spices for Marination:

  • Red chili powder – 1 tsp
  • Turmeric – ¼ tsp
  • Garam masala – ½ tsp
  • Cumin powder – ½ tsp
  • Black pepper – ¼ tsp

👨‍🍳 Preparation Method

1️⃣ Marinate Chicken

  • In a bowl, mix chicken strips with curd, ginger-garlic paste, lemon juice, and all spices.
  • Let it rest for 30 minutes for flavor to soak in.

2️⃣ Cook the Chicken

  • Heat oil in a pan.
  • Add marinated chicken, sauté on medium flame until cooked and slightly golden (about 8–10 mins).
  • Add sliced onion & capsicum, stir fry for 2–3 mins (keep a slight crunch).

3️⃣ Prepare Parathas

  • Lightly roast or fry parathas with a little butter/oil until soft but slightly crisp on edges.

4️⃣ Assemble the Roll

  • Place cooked chicken mix on the paratha.
  • Sprinkle fresh coriander and a squeeze of lemon.
  • Roll tightly and wrap with butter paper/foil.

Serving Tip

Serve hot with mint chutney, mayo, or spicy ketchup for extra taste.
