🌯 Fresh Paneer Roll Recipe

🧾 Ingredients:

  • Paneer (cottage cheese) – 200 g (cut into strips)
  • Wheat flour – 1½ cups
  • Onion – 1 (thinly sliced)
  • Capsicum – ½ cup (sliced)
  • Tomato – 1 (sliced)
  • Green chili – 1 (optional)
  • Ginger-garlic paste – 1 tsp
  • Curd – 2 tbsp
  • Lemon juice – 1 tsp
  • Red chili powder – ½ tsp
  • Turmeric – ¼ tsp
  • Garam masala – ½ tsp
  • Salt – to taste
  • Oil – 2 tbsp
  • Fresh coriander – for garnish

👩‍🍳 How to Make:

1️⃣ Prepare the dough

  • Mix wheat flour with a pinch of salt and 1 tsp oil.
  • Knead it into a soft dough using water.
  • Cover and rest for 15 minutes.

2️⃣ Marinate the Paneer

  • In a bowl, mix paneer strips with curd, ginger-garlic paste, red chili powder, turmeric, garam masala, and salt.
  • Leave it for 15–20 minutes.

3️⃣ Cook the Paneer Filling

  • Heat oil in a pan.
  • Add onions, capsicum, and tomatoes – sauté for 2 minutes.
  • Add marinated paneer and cook on medium heat for 5–6 minutes until spices coat well.
  • Sprinkle lemon juice and garnish with coriander leaves.

4️⃣ Make the Rotis

  • Roll out small balls of the dough into thin rotis.
  • Cook them lightly on a tawa (like chapati) with little oil.

5️⃣ Assemble the Rolls

  • Place the cooked paneer mix in the center of each roti.
  • Add sliced onions or salad if you like.
  • Roll tightly and wrap in butter paper or foil.

Your fresh, homemade Paneer Roll is ready to serve!
